Staying healthy during pregnancy is very much about common sense : abstaining from smoking and drinking alcohol while eating healthily, making sure you have a daily intake of folic acid, and listening to your body and eating sensibly.
It’s also important to feel comfortable, so wear clothes that aren’t restrictive, such as maternity clothes. Pregnancy isn’t a time to care too much about the latest fashion trends or proving to your friends that nothing’s changed and you can keep doing the same things you did before you were pregnant – just go with the flow and listen to your body.
