The Benefits of Being Active
Last year I found myself really out of shape and about thirty pounds overweight. I went to my doctor for a checkup and some advice, but didn’t expect the severe scolding I got. After getting all the results from the lab work that she ordered, she let me know that my blood pressure was too high and my bad cholesterol had risen. She told me to get out and get moving. I am truly amazed at the many benefits of being active. I have lost the weight, increased my energy and stress levels. I feel great and I attribute that to the fact that I am getting plenty of exercise.
