My Son Got a Bad Sunburn
I took my four children to the beach yesterday. We spent all day there and now I can answer the question- what is a first degree burn? I put sunscreen on my two younger children but I only told my older son who is thirteen to use the sun screen. I put it all over his back and on his face for him but then I told him to do the rest. I got busy keeping the two smaller kids from running off alone. At the end of the day my son’s chest was bright red. I feel so guilty now and he is hurting bad. He has two white spots on his test showing just how thoroughly he put the lotion on.
