When I was first hired on at a diesel mechanic shop, the owner made sure to show me the ropes. I had a basic working knowledge of what I was doing, but they were starting to use some great new technology that I didn’t know much about. The owner said that he had just bought a hawkeye borescope so that we could get better looks at fuel injectors, and when I tried it for the first time, I was amazed at the clarity that it provided. It has helped shave a significant amount of time off of the labor, which saves us time and saves the customer money.
